Once we informed her what had happened, she provided us one other watermelon. I laughed and replied, "No thank you. We know it is a good one." It turned out to be a great melon and an exquisite, therapeutic laughing expertise.
If we had problems with feeling clumsy, silly, or not good enough, we might have felt unhealthy or embarrassed. Feeling none of those detrimental thoughts, we were in a position to see the humor in the state of affairs.
Unexpectedly, the incidents that day continued. We opened the side door of my minivan to place the groceries inside. Luckily, I had rotated in time to see the shopping cart rolling off the sidewalk and heading towards Gail. I warned her in time for her to cease it from crashing into her. Once again, we have been laughing hysterically.
Once again, we could have felt scared, offended, embarrassed, or annoyed. Instead we selected to enjoy the humorous situation of this purchasing cart, for no apparent reason, having a thoughts of its personal and deciding to satisfy us at the automotive door.
