Regarding the Russian's, typically in the advance stages of hypothermia the individual themselves really feel very heat which might account for the tearing of the clothes, they have additionally been known to undergo hallucinations. Nevertheless, that doesn't account for the fractured skulls or the missing tongue.
I've read about that Australian pilot, that's fairly trippy.

Carol - I like thriller shows too, especially the previous Unsolved Mysteries with Robert Stack.
Pat - Yeah, the tongue half is very weird. The fractured skulls might have been from falling down and hitting their heads or something. Such a bizarre story.
Patty-Thanks for sharing it! Glad you appreciated it!

The Russian mountaineers are essentially the most perplexing to me. It is exhausting to imagine what may have occurred to experienced mountaineers to expose themselves to the weather when they're educated to do precisely the alternative.

Fascinating tales. I adopted the link to the long article on the Siberian mountain incident and it's nonetheless baffling. Not one of the theories seem to account for all of the facts. A really fascinating hub.
