The sinister pattern for people dressing up as scary clowns sweeping the nation has taken an much more terrifying flip, after a man was left in a pool of blood.
Simon Chinery, 28, was confronted at a cash machine by a clown wielding a ten inch knife, and has suffered severe slash accidents to his proper hand.
Chinery, from Blackburn, stated he grabbed on the knife to defend himself, however the blade reduce by his hand.

Chinery advised the Lancashire Telegraph: It was like something out of a horror film. His eyes have been piercing black. There was blood in all places.”
The clown was stated to be wearing a green curly wig with black eye make-up, a purple nostril and painted crimson beard. He was also stated to be wearing inexperienced trousers, a white fitted top, latex gloves and black boots.

Doctors have since told Chinery that his hand might have long lasting damage and he'll need reconstructive surgery. As a joiner, Chinery mentioned the attack has ruined his life as he can't return to work.
An increasing number of creepy clowns have been spotted around the country, in a craze that has caught on from America. This is one of the extra violent incidents, and sets an even more worrying precedent.
