A gaggle of alumni, highly established in their careers, received collectively to go to their old college professor. Dialog quickly become complaints about stress in work and life.
Providing his visitors coffee, the professor went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups - porcelain, plastic, glass, crystal, some plain wanting, some
costly, some exquisite - telling them to help themselves to the coffee.
When all the scholars had a cup of espresso in hand, the professor said:
"When you observed, all the good wanting expensive cups have been taken up, leaving behind the plain and low-cost ones. While it's regular for you to need solely the best for yourselves, that is the supply of your issues and stress.
Be assured that the cup itself adds no high quality to the espresso. Generally it's simply costlier and in some circumstances even hides what we drink.
What all of you actually wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the very best cups... And then you definately started eyeing each other's cups.
Now contemplate this: Life is the espresso; the jobs, money and position in society are the cups. They are simply tools to hold and contain Life, and the type of cup we have doesn't outline, nor change the standard of Life we dwell.
Typically, by concentrating solely on the cup, we fail to benefit from the espresso God has provided us."
