At 47, Brad Pitt continues to be a heartthrob, but he is additionally a family man. (He and Angelina Jolie have six youngsters!) In an interview featured on this Sunday's Parade journal, the "Moneyball" star opens up about the somewhat boring life he was residing previous to falling in love with Angelina, and why he's now a "happy man."

On his uninteresting existence with Jennifer Aniston: "I spent the '90s attempting to cover out, making an attempt to duck the complete superstar cacophony. I started to get sick of myself sitting on a couch, holding a joint, hiding out. It began feeling pathetic. It turned very clear to me that I used to be intent on trying to find a film about an attention-grabbing life, but I wasn't dwelling an interesting life myself. I think that my marriage to actress Jennifer Aniston had something to do with it. Making an attempt to fake the marriage was something that it wasn't."
On Angelina: "One of the biggest, smartest things I ever did was give my youngsters Angie as their mother. She is such an important mom. Oh, man, I'm so completely happy to have her."
On being subject to fabrications about his private life: "I imply, what number of tales have you ever read that are not true, stories about me and Angie being married or combating or splitting up? And once we don't split up, there's a whole new round that we've made up and we're again collectively once more! We'll get married when everybody can. We're not splitting up. And we do not have a seventh little one but."

On being a "glad man": "I put much more emphasis on being a glad man. I'm happy with making true selections and finding the lady I love, Angie, and building a household that I love so much. A household is a dangerous venture, because the greater the love, the greater the loss. That's the trade-off. However I will take it all."
